DeSean Jackson parts ways with Los Angeles Rams
“I think what it boils down to is opportunities that I think he’s deserving of and the situation and some of the circumstances that surround him,” Rams head coach Sean McVay told reporters on Jackson’s release.
DeSean Jackson was signed by his hometown team, the Los Angeles Rams, for a one-year contract. Jackson was supposed to be the deep threat for the squad alongside Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. However, the addition of Van Jefferson as the third receiver of the Rams stripped Jackson of his due playing time in the field.
