Jalen Hurts is taking the Philadelphia Eagles to where they wanted to be at this stage of the season. And he has already cemented his ‘Legendary’ status in the city of Philly. But the Super Bowl debutant is not satisfied with ruling just one city. Hurts has earned the respect of the entire NFL fan base with his outfit tribute to an 80s pop icon.

Hurts will take on Patrick Mahomes with the Vince Lombardi trophy on the line on Sunday. But the NFL world can’t take their eyes off the Eagles QB due to his style statement.

Jalen Hurts is from the stylish breed of NFL QBs. He creates totally unique styles by mixing and matching colors. He uploaded a snap on his Instagram, paying his tribute to the 80s pop icon Prince.

“Purple Reign,” the QB wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.

The Super Bowl LVII contender got a lot of love from the NFL world. Many fans wished him well for the big game. Others complimented the QB on his style. Here are a few fan comments on the post.

Hurts will be a part of history by just playing in the Super Bowl against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. The two are the first black duo of QBs to face each other in the Super Bowl. But Hurts isn’t someone who makes history by just being there. He wants to fight till the end. He wants to win.

The MVP-caliber season 

Jalen Hurts has put up some impressive numbers for the Eagles so far this season. And he is one of the contenders for the league MVP award. But he has his eyes fixed on one single objective, winning the Super Bowl.

Hurts threw 3,701 passing yards in the regular season with 22 touchdown passes. He threw just six interceptions the whole regular season, making him one of the most reliable QBs with the ball. The dual-threat QB also gained 760 rushing yards with 13 on-ground TDs.
