49ers Boss Kyle Shanahan Refuses to Back Down After Below-par Season in 2020

It’s been a fall from grace for Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers in 2020. The Red and Gold are currently sitting at the bottom of the NFC West Division table. They have just 4 wins from 10 games this season.
A major reason behind their decline is the multitude of injuries that have affected their performances in 2020. Stars like QB Jimmy Garoppolo, DE Nick Bosa, and TE George Kittle have all been dealing with long-term injuries this season. So Shanahan has been working with the secondary for the major part of the season.
The 49ers play Sean McVay’s top-ranked Los Angeles Rams on Thanksgiving weekend with no realistic shot of making the Playoffs this season. But Kyle Shanahan is not ready to ‘throw in the towel’ just yet.
