The star quarterback had previously said something interesting during an interview with NBC in 2019. He had said, “I have to be the most miserable 8-0 quarterback in the history of the league.” As compared to the winning situation Brady was in, his Bucs stand at a pale position. This is what led to Jim Gray asking Brady what his view on the current situation was. Brady explained what he meant when it came to his frustration back in 2019. He mentioned that his frustration came from not living up to the potential of the team. He said, “It’s really about the process of winning in the process of improvement.”
Brady spoke about how his frustration right now still existed. However, it might be a little lesser as compared to when he was with the Patriots. Brady compares the Bucs’ situation to a relatable sports comparison and says, “But the best part is we’re still in first place in our division again, which is hard to imagine it was like when Evander Holyfield got bitten both years and still won the fight against Tyson. He mentioned that he was not at all surprised by the fact that the Bucs lost again. When asked how bad did he think the loss was, he said, “Why should it be bad they lost five games before that, so what’s the difference in the six?” Sharpe indicated his disappointment in the Bucs and Brady. He seems to have written them off. The question that remains is will the Bucs be able to make a comeback with the way they’ve been playing?
