As training camp draws closer, the question on everyone’s mind is whether or not Aaron Rodgers will turn up at the Green Bay Packers’ training facility. At loggerheads with the franchise, the 2020 NFL MVP has skipped the side’s OTAs and mandatory minicamp throughout the offseason.
While Rodgers is yet to go on record as to why he wishes to leave the franchise, the belief is that it’s down to his fractured relationship with the Packers front office.

While the Green Bay Packers drafted his replacement Jordan Love in 2020, the franchise quickly backtracked in their decision-making and are now desperate to hold on to last season’s MVP. They have gone as far as to offer him a bumper two-year contract extension. The Packers were reportedly ready to pay the man the money he deserves. But Rodgers turned it down.

Aaron Rodgers seeks $90 million guaranteed
As per PFT’s Mike Florio, his sources have informed that Aaron Rodgers seeks a whopping $90 million in guaranteed money over the next two years. This is reportedly a figure that a team interested in making a move for the quarterback was conveyed.

The $90 million deal would see the quarterback earn roughly $45 million each season. That sort of money would put him at par with Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes who is locked down to 10-year $500 million deal with the franchise.
