Cooper Kupp is a critical part of the Los Angeles Rams’ core. He has transformed himself into the elite group of wide receivers in the NFL. As a result, the Rams would want to keep him with the franchise for a long time.

There have been multiple talks about a new contract offer to Kupp. He is currently earning around $15.75 million per year, which seems significantly less considering his quality. Recently, the WR market in the NFL has been shooting high, with many lofty contracts offered to the players. The Super Bowl MVP also gave his insight on what he expects in the new contract from the Rams.

And to be doing things with these guys — not just the guys on the field. I want to be a part of this organization in its growth and the places I think this organization is going.”

Cooper Kupp added, “And so I want this to be something that makes sense for everyone. I want them to feel good about it, and I think the best way to do that is for me to at least be involved in some capacity.” Kupp certainly doesn’t want to put his team’s salary cap in trouble. However, he would like to get paid accordingly, which he certainly deserves.
