Aaron Rodgers has eased into his new home, New York. The MVP QB kicked off a new chapter by moving to the Jets following a blockbuster trade for a staggering reported amount of $110 million, later restructured to a $75 million deal. After a long 18-year illustrious career with the Packers, his departure was nothing but shocking for his devoted fans.
The QB is heading for his maiden season at his new stop and he is going all in, as he aims for nothing short of success. Rodgers’ presence has also breathed fresh life into the Jets roster as they have set their sights on the Lombardi trophy, determined to end a drought that has persisted since 1969.

Rodgers’ debut at the preseason
A-Rod’s anticipated appearance at the Jets at the gridiron won’t take long. According to reports, Rodger will make his New York Jets debut on coming Saturday against the New York Giants in the preseason finale. The QB has never participated in exhibition plays since 2018, as this will mark his return.
Rodgers, who observed from the sideline as backup Zach Wilson started the first three pre-season games is going to make his Jets debut before he opens the regular season on Sep 11 against the Bills.

The Jets celebrated his arrival with a heartfelt message on their Instagram page, captioned ‘Welcome home’. A hearty welcome, however, was met with interesting reactions, a chunk of it from the Packers’ tribe.
Packers fans can’t get over it
It’s been nearly four months after A-Rod’s departure from Packers’ and the fans are still missing the QB. If the announcement of his trade was not heartbreaking enough and it stung even more with their favorite QB in a different base. The Packers flooded the comments under the welcome post, where many united in a shared sentiment of missing Rodgers.
