Tom Brady was the greatest quarterback in the game when he was on the field. Off of it, he is an astute entrepreneur who has created a multi-million-dollar business empire. He is one of the richest NFL players around with an estimated net worth of $250 million. But still, it will take him around 3000 days to surpass the mighty wallet of Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes has established himself as a worthy successor of the NFL GOAT in recent years. He has almost created a Kansas City Chiefs dynasty that might help him to dominate the league like Brady used to, throughout his career. He might have done it all in the last half-a-decade but it will take Brady almost twice that to catch up with the $503 million Mahomes has in the bank.

Tom Brady has created a sprawling business empire that has put his net worth at $250 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. But it is half of what his potential NFL GOAT successor Patrick Mahomes is making with Kansas City Chiefs. It will take Brady almost a decade to come to par with that income.

Brady earns $30 million a year through various sources he has created over the years. At this rate of income, it will take the seven-time Super Bowl champion nine years to earn the additional $270 million to surpass Mahomes’ income at $503 million, which comes through a 10-year Chiefs deal. That is almost 3000 days and 75,000 hours. Isn’t that a big gap?

The Fox in the room

When Tom Brady retired for the first time at the end of the 2021 season, he signed a mega deal with Fox to turn to broadcast. The 10-year deal is worth a whopping $375 million. So that means an additional $37.5 million-a-year income for the legendary QB. That will cut the catch-up time quite a bit.

But just after signing the deal, Brady went back to play one more season for the Buccaneers. That meant the deal took a backseat. He hung his cleats again in February this year but put his broadcasting career on hold again to spend some time with his kids.
