ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington reported on Saturday that Tom Brady is set to retire from the NFL. The news went viral on social media, and the internet was abuzz with congratulatory notes for the legendary player with seven rings. However, later that day, Tom Brady himself and multiple sources dismissed the news as mere rumors.

During Monday’s episode of his podcast show, “LET’S GO!”, Tom Brady talked about his retirement rumors. “It’s always a good line that I’m responsible for what I say and do, and not responsible for what others say or do,” Brady said about the retirement rumors. He added, “I think for me, it’s literally day to day with me. I’m just trying to do the best I can every day, evaluate things as they come, and I’m trying to make a great decision for me and my family.”
