Gisele Bündchen is one of the greatest supermodels in the world. At one time, she was the highest-paid model in the world. And that level demands commitment. And she talks about her commitment to her work in her memoir.

She revealed an instance where her commitment was tested to a great deal.

Models often have to work in harsh conditions with a smile on their faces. And Gisele Bündchen faced this multiple times in her career. She talks about one such instance in her book, “Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful life”.

“One time on a job in Iceland, I was told to stand on a floating fake iceberg in the middle of a glacier, wearing only a string dress. I was freezing, and afraid I might slip and fall into the frigid water, and yet I just smiled, doing my best not to show how panicked I felt,” she wrote in her memoir.

She also revealed what went through her mind while completing that assignment.

“I told myself that it didn’t matter if I was shivering or if my lips were turning blue. I was going to do the job well,” she added.

That is total commitment.

Bündchen’s divorce from Tom Brady

Gisele Bündchen made waves last month when she finalized her divorce from NFL great Tom Brady after 13 years of marriage. They married each other in 2009.

Bündchen wanted Brady to spend more time with the family. Brady announced his retirement from the NFL after the 2021 season to do just that. But he quickly changed his mind and came back out of it in just over a month. He wanted to win another Super Bowl ring, adding one more to an already big collection of seven rings. He has won six championships with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That did not go down well with Bündchen.

She thought Brady was prioritizing his NFL career over his family. The Bucs star has two children with Bündchen, a 12-year-old son Benjamin and a nine-year-old daughter, Vivian. He also has a 15-year-old son, Jack, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. Bündchen called Jack her bonus child in an old interview.

The couple will have joint custody of the two younger children. While Brady will continue living in his Tampa home, Bündchen will move to Miami.
