The numbers suggest how troublesome it could be to make it to the playoffs. Moreover, there seem to be dark clouds around his future in the franchise. But HC Matt LaFleur cleared the air.
Green Bay is in a peculiar position with the back-to-back MVP at the helm. It is not something they thought it would be. Aaron Rodgers’ future with the Packers also seems in jeopardy. But Matt LaFleur’s statement would clarify that there would be no changes to the franchise’s top roster despite the woes.

According to PFT’s Myles Simmons, when reporters asked Matt LaFleur about his desire to have Aaron Rodgers for 2023, he mentioned, “Yeah, absolutely. Of course.” LaFleur then discussed his thoughts on Rodgers’ season thus far. He said, “I think we’ve got a great problem in terms of when you have confidence in multiple people. You’d rather have that. I do think, just thinking about expectations, and certainly, people expect — we all expect — a certain level from him every time and especially when you’re coming off back-to-back MVP seasons.

“I think you’ve got to be realistic about the situation, too, in terms of, you’re losing almost your entire receiving corps and there’s a lot of new pieces around ya. There’s going to be a learning curve to that. Not to make excuses, it is what it is,” He added.
