As things stand, the Andy Reid-led Kansas City Chiefs remain on track to defend their Super Bowl title in 2020. The defending champions established their dominance once again with a convincing win over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Thanksgiving Weekend.
Two standout performers for Kansas City were quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
The Chiefs made their way to a comfortable 24-27 win over the Buccaneers at the Raymond James Stadium on Sunday. Mahomes went 37 of 49, throwing for 460+ yards with 3 passing touchdowns to his name.

Hill, on the other hand, had 269 receiving yards with 3 receiving TDs against a sub-par Buccaneers defense.

“I really didn’t understand, and Todd Bowles knows this. He knows, he knows better as a defensive coordinator. You don’t allow guys like Tyreek Hill to have free access and just run down the field and repeat it with no one touching him.
“Playing man to man without real help or without jamming him at the line of scrimmage, you’re going to lose that battle every single time. The way that you defeat the Kansas City Chiefs is you have to play physical.
“And hard like the Raiders, you got to get up and challenge the deal. So, therefore, when Patrick Mahomes goes to throw the football, he knows that it’s going to be tough and I got to get the ball out there, my guys are going to be rerouted.
“But when you allow them to just run up and down the field, it’s ridiculous and on top of that, it was great game planning by Eric Bieniemy to understand that the guys that were covering Tyreek Hill couldn’t (keep up with him).

“But defensively, the Bucs didn’t do enough,” Johnson said on Around the NFL podcast.
The Chiefs have now extended their winning run to 6 games. They last fell to a defeat in Week 5 against AFC West rivals, Las Vegas Raiders.
