To celebrate this monumental occasion, we take a look at some landmark moments and memorable performances that Brady recorded in regular-season games over the years.
Tom Brady bags his first win
Tom Brady’s first win, the first of many throughout his career, was in his second season (2001) with the New England Patriots. Brady, who started the season as the Patriots backup QB, padded up against the Peyton Manning-led Indianapolis Colts.
While Brady’s numbers that day weren’t phenomenal, he and the Patriots did enough to register a 44-13 win against the Colts. Incidentally, the win was also their first of the season.

The comeback king gets rolling
Tom Brady knows how to pull off a comeback. While the Patriots’ Super Bowl win from behind against the Atlanta Falcons has gone down as one of the greatest in the league’s history, Brady’s performance against the San Diego Chargers in 2001, is what set the ball rolling.
With the Patriots down 26-16, Brady came in clutch and led his side to a memorable 29-26 win in overtime.

Unlocking the perfect passer rating

Throwing for 354 yards, including 6 touchdowns, Brady ended the game with a passer rating of 158.3, the highest possible in a game for a quarterback. The Patriots won the game comfortably, 49-28.
Tom Brady and Pats finish the regular season undefeated
The Patriots were unstoppable in the 2007 regular season. With a perfect winning record, the Patriots took on the New York Giants to etch their name in the history books.
The Giants, led by Eli Manning, were no pushovers. But Brady, as he always does, came in clutch. With 2 touchdowns, he steered the New England Patriots to a win over the Giants to cap off the regular season undefeated. Becoming only the 4th team in the league’s history to do so.

The Titans rout
When one looks back at the scorecard of the game between the Patriots and the Tennessee Titans back in 2009, it’d be okay to forgive them for thinking it’s a typo. But the 59-0 scoreline is real. Yes, 59-0 for the Patriots. It happened.
And the man orchestrating the Patriots offense was none other than Tom Brady. Having thrown for 380 yards, including 6 touchdowns, Brady was a hair’s length away from recording another game with a perfect passer rating.
