The Los Angeles Rams entered Lambeau Field prepared to neutralize Aaron Rodgers and his aerial threat. What they clearly weren’t prepared for was the Green Bay Packers’ running game.
Right from the word go, it was the Packers’ running backs that dictated the play. Getting important first downs, making big plays, and even scoring touchdowns.

Yes, you read that right. Aaron Rodgers at the age of 37 scrambled and ran the ball into the endzone bamboozling the Rams defense.
LA Rams left reeling without Aaron Donald
Aaron Donald is the cornerstone of Sean McVay’s LA Rams defense. The defensive linesman is a tackling-machine and is widely regarded as one of the best to ever play the game.
Donald, however, entered this game with a partially torn rib cartilage. An injury he picked against the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round game.

A decision which worked out for them perfectly as their rushing got them almost half their 1st downs.

Aaron Jones, the pick of the bunch for the Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones was the man to lead the Packers’ running game. And he did it in style. Ending the night barely shy of the 100-yard-mark with 99 rushing yards on 13 carries, the running back got the Packers their 4th touchdown of the game. Earlier in that very drive, Jones rushed for 60 yards to help set up the Packers deep into Rams territory.

The running back registered his second 1,000+ yard rushing season in 2020 and looks to be a key tool for the Packers heading into the NFC Conference Championship.
