Following a horrendous 2020 season, the Philadelphia Eagles finally decided enough was enough. Having fired Super Bowl-winning Head Coach Doug Pederson and trading starting QB Carson Wentz, the franchise is looking to rebuild with a clean slate.
Now a Colt, Wentz was instrumental in guiding the Eagles to the Playoffs during their Super Bowl-winning season. Considered a savior by Philly fans, things soon turned ugly.
After the QB threw almost as many interceptions as touchdowns in 2020, he was benched in favor of rookie Jalen Hurts. Signaling the end of his time in Philly.

With the Eagles in his rearview mirror, Wentz moves on to a new challenge with the Indianapolis Colts. But during a recent press conference, the QB had some things to say about his time at Philadelphia.
Carson Wentz thankful for his time with the Eagles
During his introductory press conference as a Colts player, the QB said looking back he was appreciative of his time with the franchise that drafted him back in 2016.
“As far as being a competitor, I’ve never once questioned my competitiveness. But at the end of the day, this was outside of my control. I’m appreciative of everything that happened in Philly, for all of the opportunities,” he said.
