Acing DWTS performances seems like a trend for Jordan Chiles and her partner, Ezra Sosa. Atleast according to the fans. However, the judges don’t seem to be on the same page with the fans. It shows in the scoring since the perfect score remains elusive to Chiles and Sosa to date. Something along these lines happened yet again during the Dancing With The Stars’ first semifinal performance. Chiles and Sosa performed a Jive routine to ‘Raspberry Beret’ for which the pair received only 27 out of 30 from the judges, much to the dismay of her fans.

Tensions ran high with Chiles even pointing out that making the DWTS semifinals was similar to making the Olympic trials. Despite Chiles’ high energy, zeal and competitive spirit, Sosa had previously revealed that the hardest thing about a Jive is the stamina. For Chiles, as a gymnast, stamina is a cakewalk. However, for the judges, something seemed to miss the mark as they weren’t thoroughly impressed, as always. This time, the reason was a near fall.
According to Derek Hough, the Jive had “that pure Prince funky fun.” However, it lacked a bit of “bite” and “sharpness”. It’s almost as good as saying that the performance lacked ‘pizazz,’ whatever pizazz should be perceived as. But in the end, he assured that it was a good performance. Bruno Tonioli stood beside Hough in his judgment. The dance had “high energy.” But there was one moment where the tempo left Jordan Chiles behind in pace.

Not everyone felt the same way. Carrie Ann Inaba enjoyed the dance. She claimed that it was the “best performance so far” for the night. “I loved the energy. Super sharp, super strong,” she said. But the mishap with the tempo was an unavoidable topic – a falter in step that led to Chiles and Sosa falling short of a perfect 10.
Soon after a still from Chiles and Sosa’s performance hit X through the official DWTS handle, fandom went berserk. The comments section soon flooded with factions of opinions on how the judges could have perceived the performance – the fan’s perspective as we’d like to call it.

Fans bash the judges for robbing Jordan Chiles on DWTS Week 10
Remember week 1? Let’s consider this a repeat of week 1. The fans had the same stance. They believed that the Olympic gold medalist was being robbed. But she took the feedback from week 1 like a legend and vowed to do better. Each episode marked progress for her. Yet, her scores didn’t reflect the perfection that Chiles embodies. Weighing in on this, one fan claimed, “jordan chiles constantly being robbed.” It was enough to make a few people lose interest for the season. A fan wrote, “I’m over this season.”

Meanwhile, a few others decided to bring the heat to the judges. Especially Carrie Ann Inaba. A fan pointed out that Inaba let Robert Irwin get a perfect 10 despite a fumble in the lift during his foxtrot. The comment read, “Ok CAI you’d love to give it a perfect score but there was a mistake and yet…last week you chose to state you’ll look away from the lift to give Robert a 10…Jordan chiles get behind me!” Seems like the fans have taken up arms for Chiles’ undeserved poor scores.
Additionally, another fan brought the hammer down on Dylan Efron for having the same score as Chiles. He wrote, “you’re not gonna look at me and tell me that jordan chiles and dylan efron have the same dance scores. genuinely wtf. jordan is dancing circles around that man. like- we were all so quick to hate on andy for walking around the stage (rip andy) BUT HAVE WE SEEN DYLAN?”
Nevertheless, Jordan Chiles had perfect scores from the fanbase. Her energy, agility, and stamina greatly impressed the fans. One fan stated, “I think Jordan did an Excellent job 😊♥️.” Correlating to that, another fan asserted, “Should be all 10s. Smh. 💅” While Chiles has the people power backing her, her semifinals performance leaves her precariously exposed to elimination. We still have some more episodes to go, so let’s cross the bridge when we get there, shall we?
