“Definitely, [competing inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium] stirs up a lot of different emotions,” she said.

“I am so familiar with the Singapore Indoor Stadium, walking through those halls and being in that environment. It’s very, very familiar. So it feels right at home, and I know that I’ve gotten through this so many times. It’s going to be definitely an iconic moment on September 30.”

Lee turned professional as an 18-year-old in the stadium, dominating Egyptian star Aya Saber via an armbar in 103 seconds. The United MMA and Evolve MMA representative returned for her third professional fight and gained yet another submission win.

In her third appearance inside the arena, Lee dished out one of her best displays inside the Circle to claim the inaugural ONE Atomweight World Champion at the expense of Mei “V.V” Yamaguchi.
