‘Don’t Really Like Golf Courses Like This’ – Shane Lowry Hits Out at BMW Championship Venue
Players who came into the FedExCup playoffs were aware that not all of them will be making it to the season-ending Tour Championship. Some were eliminated after the Northern Trust, and some missed the cut after the BMW Championship. Despite how a player might have performed previously, the format and game remain unpredictable. Lowry, however, wasn’t a fan, labeling it as frustrating. “To be honest, I don’t really like golf courses like this. 21-under leading after three rounds, it’s kinda hard to get yourself going. You feel like your playing nine holes in even par”. He added that one feels like they are reversing down the leaderboard, which they are. As per Lowry, it’s the golf course one needs to play “everything pretty solid” in, along with a lot of putts.
