Tiger Woods is still recovering from his solo car crash, which happened in February 2020. And since then, there haven’t been many updates about him. The first update came in May, where he said this is one of the most painful things he has ever experienced. Moreover, he also mentioned that, currently, his primary goal is to walk on his own.

But it’s been around three months now, and there isn’t any update about his recovery. The 15-time major championship winner suffered open fractures affecting both the upper and lower portions of the tibia and fibula bones. The doctors stabilized these injuries by inserting a rod into the tibia during surgery. Moreover, he also suffered additional injuries to the bones of the foot and ankle, and the doctors stabilized it with pins and screws.

But the question that remains in every golf fan’s mind is that, will we see Tiger teeing up again? However, nobody seems to have a sure-shot answer to this question. The legendary Jack Nicklaus has given out an optimistic opinion or prediction about the same.

Recently, when asked about Tiger Woods and what does he think of Tiger’s comeback to golf, this is what Nicklaus said, according to the Washington Post: “I know Tiger,” he said. “What he did at Torrey Pines [winning the 2008 U.S. Open] on a broken leg, what does that tell you? He’ll still be able to slap it around, and if he can putt, he’ll be all right. I don’t know if he can reach his old level, but I do expect him to play again.”
