Sergio Garcia and his feud with Tiger Woods
The mutual disdain that the two hold for each other has a long history. What seemed to have started as playful banter soon led to bruised egos. Gradually, it has erupted into one of the sourest relationships in golf and there seems to be no going back for the two legends.
The seeds to this tussle were sown at the 1999 PGA Championship in Medinah, where Tiger Woods won by a one-stroke margin over Garcia. The two rising stars went head-to-head a couple of more times, and that’s when the fight really began.
