Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most prominent golfers on the PGA Tour. However, he has had a tough last couple of days as he missed the cut at the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open. Bryson constantly struggled with pain in the entire second round and it looked like he had aggravated his wrist and lower back injury.
Putting that aside, Bryson was recently caught up in a fascinating conversation with a PGA Tour volunteer. Let us have a look at the incident and see what exactly happened at the 15th hole.

Bryson DeChambeau struggles to get the volunteer to move out
Bryson DeChambeau was struggling with wrist and lower back injury throughout round two. Moreover, he hit an errant tee shot on the par-4 15th hole and found deep rough to the left of the fairway behind a tree. Hence, as usual, the volunteer moved the crowd back to allow Bryson to play his approach shot on the green.

However, Bryson wanted the volunteer to move as well, as he thought the volunteer was coming between his shot. But DeChambeau couldn’t convey this message from around 50 yards. “Sir, you’re right in the way,” said Bryson. “No, no, you are right in the way. You… no, no, no. You need to go. No, you need to go,” said DeChambeau.

After a while, when the volunteer understood, Bryson smiled and said thank you. But this has to be one of the funniest incidents involving a volunteer on the PGA Tour.

On the business end, DeChambeau had a tough time on the course. He grabbed his lower back after a few shots and was massaging his wrist constantly. The only good thing that happened was that he birdied the 17th and 18th holes. However, still, he missed the cut as he remained -2 for the event while the cut line came in at -3.
