World No.2 Rafael Nadal is short of one ATP Masters 1000 title from equaling his arch-rival Novak Djokovic’s record of 36 Masters 1000 trophies. With Djokovic having withdrawn from the upcoming 2021 Madrid Open, Nadal has a strong chance to match the Serbian.
Recently, an interesting statistic was posted on Twitter by tennis analyst, Chris Goldsmith. The tweet listed down the percentage of matches won by male tennis players at the Masters 1000 events over their entire career. The list contained the names of players in decreasing order of their match-winning percentage.
