While the tennis player was aiming for his last Australian Open title, back in 2018. On night two of the tournament, Will Ferrell interviewed the former world number one and the tennis legend John McEnroe.

And now as we are moving towards this year’s Australian Open addition without the Swiss maestro. A video from that interview was shared by Eurosport over their official Twitter account, where the famous film actor ask the most annoying questions in the most annoying way to the former world number one.

While the on-court interview was going on, the crowd was still chanting Roger, Roger. And hearing that, the American actor questioned the 20-time Grand Slam champion whether the chanting ever annoyed him. The swiss maestro took a sarcastic stroll to answer the query. And said, “They remind me of my name. It’s good, at an older age if we start forgetting your own name sometimes it’s great.”

However, it’s been a long time and still, now there has been no difference in the chanting. Nevertheless, there was a time, when the swiss maestro’s arch-rival Novak Djokovic talked about reciprocating the Roger chanting into his own.

Back in 2019, when the 20-time Grand Slam champion played his last Grand Slam final against the Serbian tennis player. Djokovic made a strange admission regarding the crowd chanting the Swiss maestro’s name and how he overcome the crowd chanting at such a crucial point.
