The Scuderia Ferrari team pulled out all the stops to create a presentation ceremony, filled with pomp. The 2020 car, named the SF-1000, was unveiled at the Romolo Valli theater in Reggio Emilia. Both, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc were present for the occasion as the new challenger was revealed to the world.
When he spoke about the car at the presentation, Sebastian Vettel admitted, “I like it a lot! I can’t wait to drive it because obviously that’s more exciting than looking at it! It’s a little bit more red than last year so I think it looks great. There’s a lot of hours that went into the car, a lot of effort. I think it is a step forward, I hope it will feel like that when I drive the car.”
He also revealed that he compared it to the 2019 car and noticed a number of differences. The German driver observed that at the back of the car, everything is sitting a lot tighter than before. Vettel also acknowledged that the men and women at the factory found ‘clever solutions’ in order to get everything packed tighter.
