Everyone knows about Serena Williams’ heroics on the court. Over the years, she has enthralled crowds with some amazing and memorable performances and is one of the greatest athletes the sporting world has seen.
The world has seen her grow from a teenager to an adult, to getting married and still going strong during her motherhood. Success has been constant in the 23-time Grand Slam holder’s career. A year after giving birth to her daughter Olympia, Williams gave her a doll ‘Qai Qai’. This doll has become quite a sensation on social media.
The ‘Qai Qai’ was initially an animated concept created by Williams herself after being influenced by her daughter’s first-ever doll. An amusing fact related to this doll is that it has over 150,000 followers on Instagram itself. This doesn’t come as a surprise since Serena’s brand value is very high given her recognition all over the world.

Serena Williams: Sharing happiness with others
Not so long ago, Williams decided to make the Qai Qai available to every child who’d like to own one for themselves. She said, “When we started telling Qai Qai’s story on social media, we weren’t sure how people would respond, but it became obvious very quickly that a lot of parents could relate to how much Qai Qai means to our daughter. We wanted to be able to share that same joy with others, so we decided to bring her to life!”
The former World No. 1 enjoys social media and certainly knows how to make the best use of it. Serena decided to make her fans aware of the ‘Qai Qai’ doll and said, “I love to connect with my fans on social media and it only made sense to give Qai Qai that same platform.”
