Former World No.1 Karolina Pliskova recently hired a new coach for the 2021 season. Sascha Bajin will coach the World No.6 going into the 2021 season. Bajin is Pliskova’s 4th coach in three years, and she and Bajin will expect this partnership to work and deliver brilliant performances.
In a recent interview with Tennisnet, Bajin revealed that after his partnership with Dayana Yastremska ended, he didn’t want to start a new adventure soon. But the prospect of coaching a former World No.1 excited him.
“I didn’t know her that well personally, but it actually went very easily and comfortably. I didn’t put any pressure on myself because I’ve been there for so long and originally didn’t want to continue on the tour straight away.”
