Shakira’s life has become more of a rollercoaster in the recent past. In April, she shifted to Miami with her children putting an end to the controversial separation saga with Gerard Pique. For the past few weeks, various sources have reported that she has surprisingly started dating F1 star Lewis Hamilton. The Latin American singer recently did an interesting advert for a brand that Americans love the most!

Without a doubt, she channeled her inner Hamilton while shooting for this ad. In an extremely dramatic sequence, the singer speeds off in her vanity van during the shoot.

What is Shakira’s new advert about?

The new advertisement is for Sabritas. Interestingly, Sabritas potato chips are one of the most popular brands, especially in the US. A statistic in 2020 revealed that 1.04 Americans consumed at least eight bags of chips every month. Since then, the number has only been rising for Sabritas. Most recently, they did a brand collaboration with the one and only Shakira.

The Colombian icon recently traveled to Barcelona to drop off her children with ex Gerard Pique. During her short trip to Spain, she also shot an advert for the chips brand. In the commercial, she was at a shoot already and walking back to her vanity can. After entering the van, she takes a bite of Sabritas’ chips. All of a sudden, she is energized and seemingly ready for a brand-new adventure.

She speeds away with her vanity van and the entire crew is following her. But she just never stops despite multiple attempts to get hold of her. Shakira then dramatically escapes hitting a train. The TV commercial ends with her munching on a few other chips from inside her Sabritas bag. Without a doubt, the Colombian icon might’ve consulted with F1 racer Lewis Hamilton before the shoot!

On the other hand, the singer has reportedly unofficially moved on from the Pique feud phase. That is simply because the Waka–Waka singer has taken her friendship with Hamilton to the next level.

Between the two of them, it seemingly all started during the Miami Grand Prix. After the race, both of them went out for dinner together. After that day, they also met once at Miami Beach along with other friends. Weeks later, the singer is suddenly in Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix. And that’s when quite a few sources from around them confirmed their dating status.

At the Spanish Grand Prix, an eyewitness confirmed that the new celebrity couple was being intimate with each other. But it is important to remember that she hasn’t spoken about the new relationship yet if there is actually one. On the other hand, the Mercedes racer hasn’t said anything too other than dropping a major ‘Latina’ comment for the fanbase.
