USWNT star Alex Morgan showcased her soccer skills for the NWSL soccer club, San Diego Wave. Also, she wants to play golf with her USWNT teammates during her free time. Most athletes love golf and probably pick it up after finishing their professional careers or during their free time. In a recent interview, Morgan revealed how she wants to play golf with her teammates and hopefully put in some solid swings.

Recently, former MLS player Gareth Bale switched his major attention to golf after having a successful soccer career. However, Morgan wants to take her teammates out for a social game of golf rather than a competition. Hence, she described her love for golf in a recent interview.

Appearing on the Attacking Third, Morgan explained, “They are both like solid options. But I feel like I would do something like golf. You know, like top golf or one of those where it’s like fun, social. Like, have a beer. Like, go to the range. That would probably be my best night with my teammates. Like golf is so in right now, I feel like everyone’s picked it up in the last year or two and I totally jumped on that bandwagon as well.”

And to make matters interesting, this is not the first time she expressed her love for golf. Fresh off her 2012 Olympics gold medal victory, Morgan’s friend captured her golf swing at the TopGolf in Houston. She hit the ball well and showcased a celebratory dance move without knowing they caught her on tape. At a first glance, the swing looks more than satisfactory as a new career is on the cards.

On top of the game for a long time, Bale retired from soccer to focus more on golf. He has been so interested in the game for a long time that he built a three-hole course in his backyard. Recently, the world number 2 in golf couldn’t believe the soccer star’s golf skills.

According to Inside Golf, Rahm mentioned“He didn’t ask for anything, nor should he be asking, he’s already good enough. Like I said, he has no business being that good when he’s a professional football player. He should be giving strokes back to the rest of the amateurs because he is a very, very good player.”

Famous basketball player Michael Jordan switched sports to try his luck in baseball, and he failed. Bale looks like he wants to be the best. And Morgan wants to enjoy the game when she relaxes. But who knows what will happen in the future? We might also see Morgan swinging golf balls in prestigious tournaments.
