Kylian Mbappe’s future has become a subject of interest following his ongoing tussle with his club, Paris Saint Germain in the French league. The Parisians are keen to sell him this summer, and the player is also looking for an exit. While Real Madrid has been the much-preferred destination, Saudi’s Al Hilal has offered the Frenchman a contract worth $776 million per season.

This has enticed many to talk about the humongous offer, including NBA star, Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, after hearing about Mbappe’s offer, the 7ft star gave a rather unexpected reaction. The 28-year-old went on Twitter and wrote, “Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe.” He posted a selfie along with it, where his fingers were up. It seems the Milwaukee star, who has one of the biggest contracts in the NBA, looks to steal the Frenchman’s offer.

Interestingly, Mbappe also responded when he caught what Giannis had to say, as he retweeted it with a lot of laughing emojis. It seems the 24-year-old laughed seeing the NBA star’s hilarious confession. Notably, this is the first time Mbappe has given a public reaction to Al Hilal’s offer.

Nevertheless, it was quite a hysterical moment that both Mbappe and Giannis shared. But coming back to the saga between him and PSG, it seems things have taken an ugly turn. With the striker adamant to leave the French capital next season when his contract expires, it has been forcing the club to take tough decisions. Not only did they put him up for sale, but they also banned him from facing Ronaldo.

PSG banned Mbappe to face Cristiano Ronaldo

PSG recently traveled to Japan to play an emphatic pre-season friendly against Al Nassr. However, the Parisians left their star man, Mbappe, in France and traveled without him. Apparently, PSG is convinced that their No. 7 is keen to leave the Par des Princes. In fact, his decision must have become firm after his domestic side banned him from facing Ronaldo. But he definitely won’t be leaving for Saudi Arabia.

Reports suggest that Mbappe will reject Al Hilal’s mammoth offer. It is being said he is ready to spend the whole season on the bench rather than play in the Gulf country. This definitely eliminates Al Hilal from the transfer race and paves the way for La Liga side Real Madrid. Throughout the whole saga, Los Blancos has been touted to bring him to Santiago Bernabeu. It remains to be seen if they will wait this year and bring him for free next summer, or if they will break the bank for the same.
