On Friday, the United States Women’s National Team faced off against the co-host of the FIFA World Cup 2023, New Zealand. The USWNT left no doubt as to who the better team was, winning 5-0. However, one particular performance caught many eyes. That performance came from Trinity Rodman, the daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman.
Trinity looks like she is following in her father’s footsteps but in a different sport. She has already become a household name in the NWSL playing for the Washington Spirit. And, at only the age of 20, Trinity is the highest-paid athlete in NWSL history.

She is one of the newest additions to the USWNT, making her debut in February of 2022 while scoring her first goal in just three appearances. And her recent performance in the friendlies has garnered much praise.
Dennis Rodman’s daughter initiates a brilliant goal
Trinity had a great game yesterday, assisting the opening goal and helping her team to a 5-0 victory. It was an exquisite first-touch pass that set up the goal, and she showed her great talent once again. The whole play was a beautiful one starting from the mid-line and ending with a one-touch finish.

Not only this, but Trinity also played a major role in the team’s first friendly against New Zealand, coming off the bench and making two assists to help her team to a 4-0 victory. Trinity is definitely a great talent and one to keep an eye on for the future.

For a star whose childhood dream job wasn’t even soccer, Trinity Rodman is definitely one of the best young talents in the USWNT. It will be interesting to see if she’ll make it on the squad for the FIFA World Cup 2023. She has a lot of talent and potential. We’re looking forward to seeing more from her in the future.
