Neymar has been a big name in the soccer scene for over a decade. Having played for Santos, Barcelona, and now PSG, the star is counted among some of the best players currently playing the sport. Although regardless of being a superhuman on the soccer pitch, Neymar is a big superhero fan.

Many fans are divided when it comes to their favorite superhero debate. Some like Batman, some like Ironman, and some like Superman. This is very reminiscing of the biggest debate of soccer. Every soccer fan or even non-fans has had to face the inevitable question to choose between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Neymar has played a big part in the Europe-wide domination of Barcelona, along with his co-star Lionel Messi. Although, the pair drifted apart as Neymar went to PSG in 2017. Lionel Messi followed suit and joined PSG to be back with his soccer partner. In a project with Reb Bull, Neymar talked about his favorite superhero, which lead to many reactions and discussions by the fans.

Neymar’s impressive choice at the helm

Before his monumental 241 million USD deal with PSG, Neymar joined hands with Red Bull. The energetic soccer star delivered his list of the superheroes he likes and which one is his favorite with the energy drink company. There and countless options to choose from, but the biggest overall battle always comes down to Marvel vs DC. These two superhero comics giants have been feuding for a long, long time.

The favorite superhero of the Brazilian soccer star is the guard of Gotham and a billionaire with the mind of a genius, Batman. Neymar chose him to be his favorite superhero. Being a human but not being limited is something that Neymar knows a few things about. He can also make Kylian Mbappe stunned with his soccer skills.

The previous World Cup finalists beat the South American team on penalties after clawing their way back into the game despite Neymar’s goal in extra time.

It was heartbreaking for millions of fans to see Neymar cry like a child. That is the value of that trophy. Even great players are putting in everything to get just one chance to hold them as the World Champions.
