Wrexham AFC is currently gearing up for important things. The Welsh side is focused on the preseason as preparations for EFL League Two continue. Aside from their foray into the fourth division, Wrexham are also going to be attending the famous award show, the Emmys. And it has nothing to do with the acting careers of the club’s owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

It is the Red Dragon’s famous documentary, Welcome to Wrexham, that has gotten them an invite to the prestigious award show. While the Hollywood duo is expected to make an appearance, Reynolds has revealed a condition to take striker Paul Mullin as well.

It is indeed a remarkable achievement for Wrexham, as their documentary has received six Emmy nominations. Both the club and its community will be on cloud nine after receiving the news. Aside from the actors, we may also see a few of the team’s stars at the award show. The majority may guess Paul Mullin as the man to accompany the owners.

However, Reynolds has revealed one condition for that to happen. On Twitter, the Deadpool star reacted to the six nominations by writing, “Can’t wait for season 2.” One of the netizens then asked him if he would be taking Mullin to the award ceremony. Interestingly, the Canadian gave a cheeky response by saying, “If he brings me a corsage, yes.”
