Al Hilal is currently the biggest pillar that is standing between Al Nassr and the Saudi Pro League title league this season. However, it looks like they are now interested in disrupting a reunion between Casemiro and Cristiano Ronaldo. The Blues Waves are interested in bringing the veteran midfielder from Manchester United in January. Currently injured, will the Brazilian prefer leaving peak European soccer for a brand-new soccer project?

Al Nassr also continues to monitor his situation closely as the January transfer window approaches. At the age of 31, the Brazilian anchor is still playing at the highest level and has the ability to walk into any first team regardless of their standing.

The Blues Waves even in the absence of injured star player Neymar are in red-hot form on the pitch. They currently remain 10 points clear of Al Nassr. It looks like they could make a big transfer move which could act as the difference-maker and enable them to run away with the title. According to reports, Al Hilal has entered the race for the signature of Manchester United midfielder Casemiro. This could be a big setback for Al Nassr who was looking to reunite the Brazilian midfielder with his ex-teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. Al Hilal also has the squad space ready for the midfielder for the rest of the season.

Neymar, who has been sidelined, will reportedly not be registered for the second half of the season. This gives them the space in the squad to make an overseas signing. The fans of the club will be already happily dreaming about the midfield of Ruben Neves, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and potentially Casemiro. Also, it has seemed to be a two-way race to acquire Casemiro between the Saudi giants. But the interest of Paris Saint-Germain also remains crucial for several reasons. Let’s dive deeper.

The final decision will certainly depend on manager Luis Enrique, who made golden signings in the summer transfer window. New faces like Manuel Ugarte, Goncalo Ramos, and Ousmane Dembele are starting to come into their own.
