Moreover, the Portuguese international gave a controversial interview with Piers Morgan, and United terminated his contract. After that, Al-Nassr came knocking for Ronaldo, who now plays soccer in Saudi Arabia.

However, the club still seems to be struggling. The situation is turning sour, with Ronaldo at the helm. Al Nassr’s president recently resigned after the poor run of results. It prompts issues deep inside the club as the Saudi Arabian side struggles to find form.

According to the report from Saudi Gazette, club president Musalli Al-Muammar has put down his papers after the disappointing run of form in recent times. The team won one of their five games available and succumbed to 2nd place. Amidst rumors of Lionel Messi joining the club, Al-Ittihad Club leads the table with 59 points. Winning five games in a row is a testament to their improvement.

Musalli sent his resignation letter to the Ministry of Sports, and they will dissolve the board members. The club will probably announce its next president at the end of the season. The executive became the main reason for Ronaldo to join the club. People predicted Ronaldo to steamroll the league and help them win a title. But the complete picture has been derailed.
