However, with the game raging towards an extra-time win for Al Ain, Cristiano Ronaldo converted from the spot in the 118th minute to get the scores level 4-4 on aggregate, barely dragging the game to penalties. But the shootout turned out to be a nightmare for Al Nassr, as Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles, and Otavio missed their shots, leaving their side in the dust with Al Ain bagging a 1-3 win on penalties.
