As he celebrates the second birthday of his third daughter, CR7 finds himself reflecting on a tragic loss from his past.

April 18 marks a bittersweet day in Ronaldo’s life. While he and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez welcomed his fifth child and daughter Bella, her twin brother, Angel dos Santos Aveiro unfortunately passed away during the birth. Yet, keeping a stone in his heart, the Al Nassr star has to celebrate the day for her youngest daughter. Minutes ago, Ronaldo posted a picture of little Bella on Instagram, alongside a caption that marks the birthday of his baby girl and the death of his infant son. 

He wrote, “Felicidades mi amor te amamos #AngelyBella 🥰❤️,” which, as translated by DeepL means, “Congrats my love we love you #AngelyBella.” Aside from wishing Bella a heartfelt birthday, the hashtag alone indicates that the former Real Madrid man is reflecting on the loss of his son Angel. Certainly, both Ronaldo and Rodriguez would be reeling while remembering the loss of their infant son. Even though it has been two years since the incident unfolded, the couple are doing their best to move on from the somber chapter of their lives.

Nevertheless, the two lovebirds shall try not to let it affect Bella’s birthday. Let’s hope they will strive to make the best of the day for their 2-year-old princess, just as Rodriguez recently tried to do for all the kids.

Georgina Rodriguez was seen out in Riyadh a few days ago with her children, sharing a story from a Disney store in Riyadh where her children appeared interested in some of the products. While fans wondered about Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence from the post, the Al Nassr skipper may be taking a break from the recent upsetting incident that has kept him in the headlines.

The 39-year-old suffered a premature exit with his team in the Saudi Super Cup at the hands of Al Hilal. In fact, the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner even received a red card during the game for his physical altercation with a rival star. Moreover, his suspension was extended until the end of the month for his behavior towards the referee. He is expected to return in next month’s King Cup clash against Al Khaleej.
