Last night, Al Hilal thrashed Al Nassr with a score of 3-0. While the soccer world continues to react to the eyebrow-raising result, Cristiano Ronaldo was left agitated after his goal was disallowed. The frustration doubled after he tried to stop Al Hilal’s Bono from restarting play in order to get a VAR review. This resulted in Cristiano Ronaldo making a gesture that the referee was taking a side, as per Marca. Furthermore, his frustration grew even more when the referee ignored a possible penalty for Bono’s challenge in the dying moments of the game.

After the match, Luis Castro also blasted the referee for favoring the home side. Let’s dive deeper.
