Besides the sporting perspective, bringing Cristiano Ronaldo to Al Nassr was viewed as a financial investment. While the Portuguese superstar was proving to excel on and off the field, the captain just took a huge business leap. Reportedly, Ronaldo’s hotel business, the Pestana CR7, is currently in talks to establish its inaugural branch in the city of Riyadh.

The 38-year-old sees it as a great business move as the hotel venture is guaranteed to flourish, given his fandom. Currently, the Pestana CR7 has two branches in Portugal (Lisbon and Madeira), one in Spain (Madrid), the United States (New York), and Morocco (Marrakech).

Aside from business projects, the soccer icon is currently occupied with a personal project. The Al Nassr skipper is building his dream house in Quinta da Marinha de Cascais, Portugal. The construction of 27,000 square meters of land started three years ago. However, it is draining both the finances and time of the veteran. So far, he has spent $35 million on his retirement house.

Additionally, the neighbors are rather frustrated than happy with his arrival, as they are facing many problems. Furthermore, the mansion, which is filled with state-of-the-art facilities, provides no privacy. It sits next to a golf course, which CR7 tried to buy but failed. It remains to be seen how he navigates through such setbacks.
