The Knights of Najd received a staggering $6 million cash prize after winning the domestic tournament. They secured a resounding 2-1 victory against Al Hilal in the finals, earning them this emphatic reward. However, Saud Al Sarami, a Saudi journalist, reported that Cristiano Ronaldo gave up his share of the cash prize.

The 5x Ballon d’Or winner desired the reward to be utilized effectively for the benefit of the club. Al Sarami remarked, “Cristiano Ronaldo refused to receive the Arab Cup Championship reward, and asked to spend it on anything that serves the club.”
