Controversy isn’t settling down quickly for Canelo Alvarez over his comments on Lionel Messi. Another former Messi teammate, Cesc Fabregas, has come out in support of the player. Earlier, Sergio Aguero defended Messi over the video that emerged on social media.
Everyone knows that Alvarez criticized Messi for kicking the Mexico jersey during the celebrations in the dressing room. The fans are not happy with the choice of words of the boxer. He is inviting criticism on social media. Now soccer players are coming out in support of Messi.

Cesc Fabregas is the latest soccer star to come in support of Lionel Messi
Cesc Fabregas was in sync with Sergio Aguero when he tweeted what happens in the dressing room after the match. According to Fabregas, Alvarez is unaware of the locker room celebrations and the nature of Messi. The emotions of the players are always high when they win a match. The game against Mexico was important for qualification to the knockout stage.

Currently, Fabregas plies his trade in Serie B with Como 1907 club. He won FIFA World Cup 2010, Euro 2008, and 2012 with Spain. Fabregas also has three league titles across his career winning, La Liga once with Barcelona and Premier League twice with Chelsea.
