Jurgen Klopp has sent the English media into a frenzy after announcing his decision to leave the club come summer. Liverpool‘s recent game against Norwich saw multiple players questioned about the German’s decision to part ways with the club. It seems like this has not gone well with the head coach, as Klopp slammed journalists for pestering players for something out of their hands.

Klopp made a massive announcement last week, informing fans of his exit from the club. The ex-Borussia Dortmund manager added time had started taking a toll on him physically, with the manager growing weary. With the German set to leave the club in June, fans have already started speculating about who will take over the reins at Anfield.

Klopp is not amused with journalists questioning his players

The Liverpool head coach addressed the media ahead of the team’s upcoming game against Chelsea. While talking about his team, Jurgen Klopp decided to voice his annoyance at journalists for asking Liverpool players about his decision to leave the club. “A week ago, nobody knew about my situation. Nobody asked anything. Give the boys a break. It’s normal. Nobody has to worry. I knew this would happen because you can’t wait with these kinds of questions. Write what you want. This club is stable,” he stated. 

The past few days saw Liverpool players swarmed with questions over Jurgen Klopp’s departure. However, it seems like Klopp wants his men to be away from any drama as the team focused on getting their hands on the Premier League title. Liverpool is currently on top of the league standings with 48 points to their name. However, the Reds will need to put on some of their best outings and avoid any chance of complacency if they wish to maintain their lead.
