Erling Haaland has been making headlines at the moment for all the right things since his arrival last summer. In the recent 4-4 draw against Chelsea, he scored a brace too. Many soccer fans are still of the opinion that he should have won the Ballon d’Or over Lionel Messi. It’s safe to assume that most soccer fans would have Haaland in their dream team. But his own teammate Rodri recently presented quite a surprising take where he preferred to have Alvaro Morata over the Norwegian.

In an interview with Morata sitting beside Rodri, the defensive anchor was asked to make a bold choice. He said, ” Obviously Morata“. The truth is that I am very lucky to play with them. Álvaro has been performing for many years in the national team, he is up there with the greats of our history in a number of goals and there is little to say about Erling because he has everything ahead of him to be one of the best”, as compiled by Mundo Deportivo and translated by DeepL.
