Cristiano Ronaldo has made the headlines for all the wrong reasons in the last few days. Some groups of people in Florida have filed a lawsuit against the Al Nassr star for one billion. However, it looks like a pundit is not having any of this. He has described this case as a pure publicity stunt by a bunch of ‘saddos’ against the Portuguese star.
This lawsuit news comes ahead of the important game for Al Nassr against Al Hilal. However, this controversy is unlikely to impact the player and the club.

Under serious scrutiny, Cristiano Ronaldo is being blamed for his advertisements with Binance that seemingly misled millions of fans to invest. However, ESPN’s Gab Marcotti made the intentions clear by specifying, “He’s being sued because it’s Florida because there are lawyers out there who you know will trick people…Because he probably has a billion dollars because there are saddos out there who want to generate publicity around his name”.
He has pointed out that people must have invested in CR7’s NFT token with Binance. However, they would have failed to make a profit. Hence, they are now targeting the Al Nassr star to recover their losses. They’ve filed a lawsuit against the Portuguese star in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida in Miami. Neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Binance have released comments regarding the case.
However, it looks like the soccer veteran will play in the Riyadh derby as per his normal schedule. While his legal team finds a way to solve this unexpected eruption, what does the future of this dynamic business partnership look like?

Two days earlier, the crypto firm posted on their Twitter handle, “Cooking something up with @Cristiano… Stay tuned”. Whereas, the Portuguese star wittingly replied, “Cooking something up with @binance”.
