Three nights ago, Cristiano Ronaldo took us back in time as his clutch performance helped Al Nassr lift their first major trophy in years. The former Real Madrid icon first scored a goal in the dying moments of 90 minutes to take the game to extra time. He then scored the winner in the extra time to take his team over the line. However, it came with a cost.

5 minutes after scoring the goal, the Real Madrid icon had to be stretchered off the field with an injury. However, he did come back on the pitch after the match to participate in the trophy-lifting. While he had the trophy in his hand, netizens noticed an expensive watch around his wrist. The timepiece, thanks to its rarity and price tag, has been the talk of the town ever since.

The watch worn by Ronaldo is a yellow-gold-colored Rolex GMT-Master. While the $8,300,000,000 valued brand maintains a confidentiality clause with its high-profile customers, we can still have a rough estimate. Popular watch reseller site Chrono 24 lists a pre-owned edition of Ronaldo’s watch at the price of $119,450. Considering a used edition of the watch is priced so high, one can only imagine what the original value must be.
