Today, the Al Nassr star played a pivotal role in securing an impressive victory against Slovakia, marking an extraordinary milestone of 125 goals in the process. Following his team’s 3-2 victory over Slovakia, Ronaldo took some time to meet with another sports athlete from his beloved country. The 38-year-old met Tomás Appleton, the captain of Portugal’s national rugby team. The 30-year-old rugby star came to watch CR7 in action at Estadio do Dragão stadium.

Pictures surfaced that showed both the skipper of their respective sport exchanging their signed jerseys with each other. Likewise, Appleton shared glimpses of his meeting with Ronaldo on his Instagram account. Aside from sharing snaps, the 30-year-old even wrote a heartfelt caption that read, “With the [GOAT emoji].”

His two goals in this fixture have helped him reach a 125-goal milestone for Portugal.
