Inspired by their competition, Welcome to Basildon is set to revolve around Gaffney and Williamson’s efforts to revive Basildon AFC.

However, there is a big surprise revolving around the show. The former EastEnders stars haven’t bought the actual club. The show is just a parody of Welcome to Wrexham with their own humourous take.
