Recently, Ronaldo’s sister shared another part of his interview where he discusses his rise from humble beginnings to becoming one of the greatest soccer players.

Ronaldo has never hesitated to speak about his difficult past. He wants his children to see the popularity of his father from his humble beginnings. But he also wants to build the best possible surroundings for his children to become successful in their lives. He does not want to put any pressure on them.

The Portuguese star has also spoken about how he used to get food from a local eatery near his academy. His mother and the rest of the family have also played a huge role in keeping his dream of becoming a soccer player. Ronaldo’s sister Katia has also shared a quote from his interview, where he speaks about his humble beginnings.

Katia, sharing the quote on social media, his brother Ronaldo from an interview has said, “Giving up was never an option. I grew up in a poor family. Today, I give my everything so that my children, nieces, and my children’s children don’t know what it’s like to go starving.” These quotes will also make future soccer players realize that being successful in the soccer world is not going to be easy at first. There will also be pressure on the player to perform.

Cristiano Ronaldo made the decision to join Al Nassr on a free transfer after his chapter with Manchester United. Lionel Messi also had offers to join Saudi league after his Paris Saint Germain spell. But, the Argentinian made the decision to join David Beckham-owned MLS side Inter Miami on a free transfer. Since then, both of the legendary players have changed the league completely. Both the leagues are now attracting sponsorships, and also viewership of the leagues is now on another level.

The signings of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have also brought other top players to these leagues. Saudi leagues have followed the signing of Ronaldo with the likes of Benzema, Neymar, and many others. Whereas, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets have joined Messi at Inter Miami. These signings are now going to open other markets in this January or next summer transfer window. Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing especially has helped the other signings of the Saudi league ask for big money for their stints in the league.
