The clubs are gearing up for the summer transfer window with European soccer ended. Some massive names are in contention for big moves this summer. After the Lionel Messi saga, the player that could garner significant attention could be Harry Kane.

The Tottenham Hotspur talisman is on the radar of giants like Real Madrid and Manchester United. With a Premier League record in sight, it will be intriguing to watch whether Kane moves to a club outside the league. Meanwhile, one of his former rivals and Manchester City legend had his say on Kane and the Premier League record.

Spanish giants, Real Madrid, were in the market for a backup striker after Mariano Diaz left. They were counting on Karim Benzema to carry the responsibility next season. However, it wasn’t to be. A massive offer from Saudi Arabia changed all the dynamics. Benzema joined Al Ittihad on a three-year deal. And Los Blancos had to change their plans.

It is not going to be an easy task to replace the Frenchman. But the club feels Spurs superstar Harry Kane comes closest to Benzema. However, it will be an uphill task with Manchester United also targeting the striker. Kane is 48 goals away from an all-time Premier League goalscoring record of Alan Shearer. So staying in the Premier League makes sense. And that’s what Sergio Aguero thinks.
