PSG manager Luis Enrique slammed the player following PSG’s 3-0 win over Reims in his post-match presser. Enrique, despite a hat trick from the Frenchman, claimed he expected more from the player. Kylian Mbappe has now responded to his manager’s comments, stating he understands the requirements of the gaffer.

Kylian stated, “I took it very well. He’s a great coach, and he has a lot to teach me. Since the first day, I told him that he would have no problem with me. I have always worked very well with the coaches I have had. I am a demanding player with myself, so if I find this requirement again, that suits me.”

Mbappe’s recent statements will surely send a positive message to his boss and fellow PSG teammates. The player is allegedly gaining some heat within the team’s locker room, and Luis Enrique’s recent statement has set wildfires within the PSG camp.

The PSG boss had openly criticized Mbappe despite the player scoring a hat trick in his outing against Reims. Enrique ignored the player’s goal-scoring exploits during his press conference, voicing his unhappiness with his performance.

The Spaniard stated, “I am not happy with Kylian Mbappe. I have nothing to say about the goals, but he can help the team in another way. I will talk about it with him first, but they are private conversations. Kylian is one of the best players in the world, but we want more. We want him to do more.”

Luis Enrique is not the only man unhappy with the Frenchman as of late. They have reported that the player is slowly losing confidence in the PSG locker room. It displeased multiple players on the first team with the player’s antics, believing he did not play for the team.
