Kylian Mbappe Sets Deadline for Future Decision, as PSG Superstar Wants to Play Euro 2024 With ‘Calm Head’

Kylian Mbappe‘s future is up in the air following the player announcing his departure from PSG come June. While fans worldwide are interested to know what’s next in store for the French superstar, amid rampant speculations about his future, Mbappe has played it close to the chest. And it doesn’t seem like we are getting an answer from the Frenchman anytime soon!
The PSG ace addressed the media following France’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Germany. During the media scrum, Kylian Mbappe was once again questioned about his future and the player responded with a calm message. He stated, “My future? By the EUROs, people will know. I’m very calm about it. My future is no longer a topic at the club. No one talks to me about it anymore. And I will play the EUROs with a calm head.”

Reports suggest Mbappe has already agreed to a deal in principle with Real Madrid. Los Blancos have been ardent admirers of the French superstar and have had their eyes on him for a while now. If reports are to be believed, Mbappe, who came close to signing for them in 2022 until he decided to extend his stay at PSG instead, will finally make the switch ahead of next season. And he will link up with his French compatriots, Tchouameni and Camavinga. A move to the Santiago Bernabeu will help Kylian Mbappe take his career to the next level. However, as it stands, nothing has been confirmed and Mbappe’s focus seems to be set on lifting the Euros with his national outfit.
Kylian Mbappe eyes Euro glory with France
France will head into the Euros 2024 as one of the top contenders for the coveted silverware. The team has done a good job during the qualifying stages and will look to continue their run starting the 16th of June. Kylian Mbappe, who has already tasted the World Cup success with his national team in 2018, and now has his sights set on the European prize to etch his name in history.

While France’s display against Germany in their latest appearance might have raised some valid questions over their form, the team has a chance to prove their critics wrong when they take on Chile on the 27th of March. A win would help the team find their lost momentum and put a positive forward in an attempt to lift the Euros. And then surely we’ll know where Mbappe will be playing next season with a move to the Bernabeu all but confirmed.
